Artist's Description
This painting contains a semihidden reference. See if you can find it.
The night is dark, the hour late. Many of the guests are already inside. The great wedding feast is about to begin. Still the Bridegroom has not arrived.
Outside the door some, with their lamps lit, are watching for His arrival. Others are unprepared.
At midnight there is a shout to go and meet the coming Bridegroom.
This painting, based on Christs parable in Matthew 25, is a visual reminder to be ready, alight with Gods Spirit, for Jesus - the Bridegroom, is surely coming.
About Graham Braddock
Most of my paintings are executed in oils, often over the top of other media.
