Look above, the darkness is temporary.
I stood on the tel which is the remains of the ancient city of Megiddo in Northern Israel. From boyhood I had been taught about a time when world powers will be gathered to a place called Armageddon for battle on the great day of God Almighty. Revelation ch 16 to 19.
Is this the place?
I have come to understand that personal faith in Jesus Christ is the ultimate divider of destiny. As the world scene darkens, God promises to raise up His jewels, an army of people from all nations who will inherit the Earth, Heaven and Eternity.
A couple of weeks ago, I put the painting up on www.grahambraddock.co.nz, which is really easy to use, and added the portrait of Jesus encouraging us to look up, above and beyond the darkness, in the confidence that He is in control.
A few days later, the following prophetic word came to my mind:
