In the last days, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all people (Acts 2 v 17). In many places the Church seems like a hangover from the past, irrelevant to much of the surrounding community. Transformation is possible.
In ancient times God said, If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn form their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and forgive their sin, and heal their land. (2 Chron 7 v 14).
When God’s people (represented by the church building) earnestly do this, He has promised to bring renewal (the dove of His Spirit) that will change local society, turning cold darkness to light and life.
Look closely at the dove… you might find the face of Jesus.
