Artist's Description
To me, waterfalls have always had big appeal. They speak of ongoing power, beauty and freshness.
I originally did this painting as a quick demonstration in front of members of an art club. Much later, I became intrigued by the idea of adding a semi-hidden image of the One who created and sustains all things. To me, every part of creation displays God’s fingerprints and points back to Him.
In the Bible God describes Himself as the Fountain of living water Jer 2v3. The last chapter contains this invitation, Whoever is thirsty, let him come… and let him take the free gift of the water of life Rev 22v17.
About Graham Braddock
Most of my paintings are executed in oils, often over the top of other media. Many are visual stories that contain partially hidden words or imagery where the homespun and the familiar become symbols of timeless truth. My hope is that you will discover additional levels of meaning as you look at the paintings closely.
